What is AcroYoga?

AcroYoga is a practice which gives you an opportunity to connect with another human being in a playful way to reach your fitness goals and beyond!

In today’s world, we are glued to our smart phones and have thousands of friends yet we feel lonely and in need of a real human connection. A connection where one human being is respected, listened to & understood by the other human being.

Technically AcroYoga is an activity which combines fitness, play, acrobatics, movement of therapeutics, balance and connection of yoga. (Source: AcroYoga International)

AcroYoga practice makes you play the role of a Base, Flyer and Spotter. As a Base, you learn about stability and becoming trustworthy. As a Flyer, you learn about surrendering yourself, and trusting people and overcoming your fears. As a Spotter, you learn to observe as two people interact and give them the right amount of freedom and the right amount of support (ensuring safety) to move ahead in the practice!

As AcroYogis say, “We Rise By Lifting Others!”

Meet the AcroYogis

Arjun Verma

Arjun fell in love with AcroYoga from the first time he lifted another human being in Bird and made them fly! It was ecstatic to connect with a partner in such a joyful way, yet being respectful and grateful for the practice. He didn’t choose AcroYoga but it chose him.

He is certified by Yoga Alliance in Rehab Yoga (specialised in Posture and Alignment) & also certified by AcroYoga International in “Foundation Course – AcroYoga” providing him knowledge of the fundamentals and principles of AcroYoga practice. He is excited to spread this joy and good vibes further by creating a safe and playful environment.
